Parking at Wheelock Place
Car park rates, the entrance on Angullia Park, redemption, alternatives nearby and the practical realities of driving to the Orchard Road junction.
Wheelock Place has a basement car park serving both the mall and the office tower above it, with capacity in the region of 250 to 260 lots. Among Orchard Road car parks it has a reputation for being comparatively easy to get into, which is why a number of regular Orchard shoppers park here first and then walk to the busier malls further east rather than fighting for a lot at ION Orchard or Ngee Ann City.
The entrance is on Angullia Park, not Orchard Road. This trips up first-time drivers regularly. Angullia Park is the road running down the western side of the building; approach it and take the ramp down into the basement. There is no motorcycle parking in the mall car park — riders use the URA surface car park at Angullia Park next door instead.
Published car park rates
| Period | Rate | Applies |
|---|---|---|
| First hour | Around S$3.00 | Monday to Sunday, including public holidays |
| Each subsequent half hour | Around S$1.50 | Or part thereof |
| Lunchtime surcharge | Around S$1.07 | Roughly 12.00pm to 2.30pm |
| Evening flat rate | Around S$4.50 per entry | Roughly 6.00pm to 8.00am the following day |

These are the figures most consistently published for this car park by third-party sources and by the mall in the past. Operators revise rates without public notice, and some sources list slightly higher current figures. Treat this table as a planning guide, not a quotation, and read the board at the entrance.
Getting better value
- The evening flat rate is the best deal in the building. If you arrive after about 6.00pm and stay for dinner and a film nearby, you pay one fixed fee rather than an accumulating hourly charge.
- Ask about redemption at the shop or clinic before you pay. Terms vary by tenant and are not advertised at the barrier.
- The URA car park at Angullia Park immediately beside the mall is usually the cheapest option in the area on weekdays, and it is the only nearby option for motorcycles.
- If you are visiting several Orchard malls, parking here and walking is often faster and cheaper than moving the car.
- Watch the ERP gantries around Orchard on weekday evenings; charges apply at specific times and change periodically.

Answers
Parking at Wheelock Place: common questions
Where is the Wheelock Place car park entrance?
The entrance to the basement car park is reached from Angullia Park, the road running along the western edge of the building. You cannot enter directly from Orchard Road. Follow Angullia Park down and take the ramp into the basement.
How much does parking cost at Wheelock Place?
The rates most commonly published are around S$3.00 for the first hour and S$1.50 for every subsequent half hour or part thereof, with a lunchtime surcharge of roughly S$1.07 during the middle of the day and a flat evening rate of about S$4.50 per entry from roughly 6.00pm to 8.00am. Rates change without notice; the board at the entrance is the authority.
Is there motorcycle parking at Wheelock Place?
The basement car park does not provide motorcycle lots. Riders generally use the URA car park at Angullia Park, immediately beside the mall, which charges a low daily rate.
Can I redeem parking with a purchase?
Some individual tenants offer parking redemption against a minimum spend, and the mall has run seasonal free-parking promotions in the past. It is not a permanent mall-wide entitlement. Ask at the shop or clinic when you arrive and keep your receipts.
Is the Wheelock Place car park usually full?
It is one of the less congested car parks on this stretch of Orchard Road, which is why some regular Orchard shoppers deliberately park here and walk to the other malls. It still fills on Saturday afternoons and in December. Weekday mornings are reliably easy.
