Wheelock Place takes a deliberately different position from the malls across the road. There are no vast fast-fashion floors here and no luxury flagships. Menswear is the strongest single thread. Benjamin Barker and The Shirt Bar both sit on Level 2 and both cover shirting, suiting and made-to-measure. This is the part of the mall that fills at lunchtime and just after six, when men from the tower come down for a fitting or an alteration. Gordon Max and Mazzario on Level 3 continue the tailoring theme.
Basement 2 carries the recognisable international names and is the fastest stop if you are passing through from the MRT. Calvin Klein Underwear and Calvin Klein Performance occupy adjoining units, with Superga for canvas sneakers, Melissa for moulded plastic footwear and TRT nearby.
